Security Officer Full Time Experienced Patrol Specialist

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Patrol Specialist in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time day shift. Monday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Friday 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
