About the role

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Evenings in Luckey, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing high-traffic areas, assisting with crowd and vehicle flow, and maintaining detailed activity and incident reports.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
