Security Officer Full Time Entry Validation

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Validation in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a transportation location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for a transportation location, verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of gates, parking areas, loading zones, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
