Security Officer Full Time Entry Management

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and manage access control systems, verify credentials and authorization, issue and track visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and/or security-related concerns.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following established reporting, documentation, and incident notification procedures.

Requirements

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour
