About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Routine Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions.
  • Communicate observed hazards, policy concerns, and emergency information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
