As a Security Officer Full Time Day Shift Outdoor Corporate Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and support site entry procedures in accordance with property policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain professional communication with property management, tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any additional licensing requirements per state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
