Security Officer Full Time Credential Lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Monitor and manage access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, issuing temporary access badges, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate security‑related logs and reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support a professional environment for customers and staff.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
