About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Enrollment in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations that help deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery appointments, and/or authorization for entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor logs, and inbound/outbound traffic to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly facility operations.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
