Security Officer Full Time Credential Enrollment

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy violations, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
