Security Officer Full Time Corporate Lobby Patrol

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Corporate Lobby Patrol in New York, NY. In this unarmed patrol role at a commercial real estate location, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge procedures, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements; communicate unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Shift: Daytime, Monday through Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
