Security Officer Corporate Lobby Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Corporate Lobby Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations to property management and/or designated personnel.
- Support day-to-day property operations by assisting with visitor directions, observing vendor and delivery activity, and communicating professionally with tenants, guests, and/or first responders.
Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
