Security Officer - Full Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related protocols for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining entry records, and communicating access concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor entrances, exits, loading areas, and other restricted points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, noting unusual conditions, equipment issues, and/or security-related concerns within the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
