What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, facility issues, and/or access control concerns that may require follow-up.
- Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records, assist with sign-in and sign-out processes, and communicate clearly with staff regarding security-related procedures and access requests.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
