Security Officer - Full Time
Job Description
As a Security Officer - Full Time in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a professional financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and employee entry according to site protocols, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through appropriate channels.
- Support a professional environment by assisting occupants and visitors with directions, answering routine questions, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-specific expectations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
