Security Officer - Full Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, badge verification, and/or contractor check-in practices at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery drivers to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and/or access records related to arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other security-related activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, parking areas, and receiving zones, while observing for security-related concerns and reporting issues promptly.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
