Security Officer - Full Time

About the role

As a Security Officer - Full Time in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, and help support authorized access procedures for the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or operational concerns, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal personnel as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
