Security Officer - Full Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming atmosphere, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through proper site channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a clean and professional location by observing for hazards, policy violations, and/or operational issues that could require follow-up from site contacts or emergency services.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
