Security Officer Full Time

About the role

As an Access Control Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor activity. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and guests, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to commercial office buildings, parking areas, and other designated property locations by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access concerns, and daily activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thursday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
