Security Officer - Full Time

About the role

As a Security Officer - Full Time in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, noting and reporting suspicious activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, observing site conditions, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and/or first responders when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
