About the role
As a Full Time Armed Patrol Crisis Response Security Officer in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Financial Institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of suspicious behavior or conditions.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Requirements
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- At least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
