Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Security Officer in Pennsburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities supporting critical infrastructure operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter points, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$25.00 per hour.
