Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Hospital Patrol in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Using your armed guard card/license, you will support patients, visitors, and staff through exceptional customer service and clear communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, hospital policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout hospital facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and public responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, helping to maintain an orderly healthcare environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and complete required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
