About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Field Response in Signal Hill, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This driving post offers the opportunity to respond to security-related concerns, maintain a visible presence, and support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public-service agencies as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of municipal buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain an orderly public-facing environment while following applicable site policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old for armed roles.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must participate in industry-specific security training programs.
