Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver

About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver in Camden, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving position requires an Armed Guard Card or License and a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and uphold Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and control access to sensitive areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
