Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
• Cookordination with onsite personnel and public service agencies as appropriate during emergencies, medical incidents, evacuations, and other security-related events.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
