Security Officer - Full Time Afternoons

Job Description

As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Evansville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

• DayTime: Mon 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Tue 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Fri 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Sat 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM, Sun 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and report security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, completing incident reports, and assisting with traffic, delivery, and/or visitor flow in accordance with post instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
