Security Officer Full Time Access Verification Driver

The position is a full‑time Security Officer Access Verification Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, serving clients in industries such as automotive manufacturing. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and operations, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and records.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production‑adjacent areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Consideration of qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
