About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Systems Monitoring in Torrance, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery appointments in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity records and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
