About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location in Dallas, TX, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. You will help maintain a secure environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points at a food and beverage distribution location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
  • Screen and direct truck drivers, vendors, contractors, and visitors according to site procedures; communicate access requirements and parking or delivery instructions.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

  • Thursday: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
  • Friday: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
  • Saturday: 05:30 PM - 05:30 AM
  • Sunday: 05:30 PM - 05:30 AM
