Security Officer Full Time Access Systems Coordinator

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Systems Coordinator in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, including building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
