Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Route Driver in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, support visitor and vehicle screening, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:30 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:30 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:30 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to associates, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to location procedures.Screen and document deliveries, vendor arrivals, and outbound traffic in accordance with established distribution-center requirements.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
