Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Route Driver in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, support visitor and vehicle screening, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to associates, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to location procedures.
  • Screen and document deliveries, vendor arrivals, and outbound traffic in accordance with established distribution-center requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
