Security Officer Full Time Access Control

About the role

As a Full Time Access Control Security Officer in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. You will monitor entry points, manage badge access, conduct routine patrols, deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, talent, production personnel, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vendor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activity as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, studio spaces, and the business perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with onsite teams and Allied Universal leadership regarding access control operations, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with alarm panels.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Active guard card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$23.10 per hour.

• Monday: 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM
• Friday: 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM
