Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization in Ingleside, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage site entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Your visible presence, clear communication, and customer-focused approach will help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue and collect access credentials, and maintain accurate access records.
• Respond to access-control incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including facility entrances, business operations areas, and the perimeter, with working conditions varying throughout the industrial location.
• Report unusual activity, access-control concerns, and security-related hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.50 per hour.
