Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Intake in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive observation, clear customer service, and timely reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
  • Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while providing clear communication to building management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

  • Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
