Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control tasks, and front desk support activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and communicate entry procedures in support of security-related protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site policies and reporting expectations.
  • Answer phones, direct guests, receive deliveries, and coordinate with site contacts for appointments, visitor access, and/or other front desk needs.
  • Complete required reports, document daily activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • A DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate is required.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Skills

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly and solve problems effectively.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
