Security Officer Front Desk Customer Care

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution, you will be a welcoming, professional presence for visitors and employees, supporting access control, monitoring entry activity, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents through a visible front desk presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming front desk presence for employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution location.
• Verify visitor identification, follow site-specific access procedures, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Provide customer service by answering inquiries, directing visitors, and communicating facility procedures in a courteous manner.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity according to site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.

• Saturday: 09:00 AM - 01:00 PM
