Security Officer Front Desk Coordinator

About the role
As a Front Desk Security Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will be a welcoming presence, manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver outstanding customer service while helping to deter incidents through attentive observation and clear communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and communicate entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Assist with reception duties, including directing visitors, answering phones, managing deliveries, and providing information to authorized individuals.
- Document security-related incidents, visitor activity, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.56 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
