Security Officer Part Time Front Desk Coordinator

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a secure, professional environment while supporting staff, patients, and guests.

Position Type: Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access at the front desk, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and facility activity.
• Assist with directing visitors and supporting a welcoming, orderly front-desk environment.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$15.95 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shifts: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday shifts available
