Security Officer - Front Desk
About the role
As a Security Officer Guest Services Desk in INDIANAPOLIS, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, values teamwork, and acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, assisting visitors, and carrying out security-related procedures appropriate to a financial services location.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, managing visitor sign-in processes, and communicating access protocols to staff, guests, and/or vendors.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
- Answer phones, greet arriving individuals, and support front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence and consistent application of post procedures.
- Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and relay important information to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives as needed.
Requirements
- CPR and First Aid knowledge is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
