Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Guest Registration in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a retail location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain a professional, visible presence while helping to deter security-related incidents and communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and team members.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Staff the front desk or reception area, greet and direct visitors, provide building information, and maintain a professional, customer-focused presence.
- Maintain access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document relevant details.
- Monitor front desk communications, alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems as assigned, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least six months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
