As a Security Officer Front Desk Access Verification in Wayne, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare setting, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment while responding to security-related concerns and supporting site operations. Schedule
Full Time, Daytime: Monday–Friday, 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific policies, access-control procedures, and security-related protocols at the front desk.
- Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with facility procedures.
- Monitor lobby activity, entrances, and available alarm or camera systems, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established response procedures.
- Communicate clearly with facility personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, visitor concerns, and security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
