Security Officer Fri/Sat/Sun days

About the role

Wellfound is hiring a full-time day Security Officer to join their team. This position is a .9 FTE, working three 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 AM - 7:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and property at Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital.
• Work with diverse populations and handle demanding and stressful situations with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time and assist in de-escalation with the guidance of clinical staff.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Heart Saver or Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One year of security experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Mental Health Tech or other behavioral health experience may be considered in lieu of security experience.
