Security Officer - Fort Worth

VOA-Texas is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. The role requires weekend availability and offers a sign-on bonus of $1,000.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the overall security and operational control of the assigned facility.
• Maintains chronological written records of events that occur during the shift.
• Monitors client movements inside and outside the facility.
• Controls contraband in facility through general observation, facility searches, and client searches.
• Ensures facility cleanliness by assigning and monitoring client work, morning duty, and extra duty assignments.
• Obtains urine specimens and breath samples to monitor client substance usage.
• Monitors visitor activities.
• Monitors, observes, and records client self-administration of medication.
• Transports clients in agency vehicles to and from scheduled activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a residential setting is preferred.
• A Texas Driver's License is required and the ability to be insured.
• Bilingual (English - Spanish) preferred

Pay

The pay rate is $23.11 per hour, which includes an hourly rate of $17.75 plus $5.36 per hour in additional Fringe Pay.
