Northwood Club is a prestigious country club established in 1946, known for hosting the 1952 Golf U.S. Open. The club has been recognized as one of the best golf courses in the world, receiving the #1 Best Golf Course Renovation award from Avid Golfer Magazine in 2019 and maintaining its position as the best country club in Avid Golfer from 2022 to 2024. Additionally, Northwood Club holds the Distinguished Clubs of the World Emerald Designation for outstanding member service.

Responsibilities
- Visual check of everyone entering and exiting club property.
- Verify all incoming traffic, alerting staff of deliveries, guests for dinner, and directing guests and vendors where to park.
- Properly authenticate members and employees who enter onto property. Document guests in the guest log.
- Patrol property checking for suspicious activity or persons or safety/fire hazards.
- Investigate and/or report hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to clubhouse manager or general manager for correction of follow-up actions.
- Observe activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce club rules/regulations; alert visitors of infractions.
- Assist any persons on property needing directions or club information.
- Respond to alarms and dispatched calls; decide what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations.
- Know club's emergency response manual, security's role and procedures for all emergency situations as documented.
- Submit daily incident report at end of each shift.
- Patrol property with use of golf cart and ensure all facilities are secure.
- Patrol and secure off-site parking lot as needed.
- Complete opening and closing procedures as trained.
- Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager/Supervisor.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
- Must be able to operate and drive a golf cart.
- Comply and know all safety policies of the Club as well as federal laws pertaining to OSHA, and EPA regulations.
- Attend staff meetings when required.
Requirements
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, reach, or lift 20-30 lbs.
- Ability to operate computers or computerized equipment.
- Position requires working extended hours outside where exposed to various weather conditions.
- Position requires conforming to a specific appearance and dress code. Maintain professional conduct at all times.
