Job Description

As a Security Officer for Data Center in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

• DayTime: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at a technology-focused location, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting established visitor, employee, and contractor access protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or team members regarding security-related concerns, unusual activity, and site procedures while helping to support daily operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
