As a Security Officer Flex Part Time Patrol in Aquasco, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay

Pay Rate: $25.12 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time: Sunday, 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
