Security Officer Flex Day Shift Residential Building Patrol

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Greet and screen residents, guests, delivery personnel, and contractors; verify authorization and direct individuals according to property procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, visitor logs, entry systems, and communications equipment; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, visitor records, incident documentation, and shift communications for the residential location.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
