Security Officer (Flex) Boeing

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, restricted zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and credential activity, challenge unauthorized persons when appropriate, and support the control of entry to sensitive areas involving equipment, materials, and/or operations.
• Support incident reporting, post orders, and preparedness procedures by completing required logs, maintaining situational awareness, and assisting with responses to medical, fire, and/or facility-related events.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess Act 235 qualification for positions in Pennsylvania only.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Skills

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
