As a Security Officer at a financial facility in Brooklyn, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay

$22.00 - $23.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Daytime shift: Friday, 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM

This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift (Anchor Shifts). You may also pick up extra shifts through our Claim-A-Shift Program, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. This role offers flexibility to scale between part-time and full-time hours (up to 40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with the protection of people, property, and confidential financial operations.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
