Security Officer Financial Institution

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or security-related concerns.
• Support opening and closing routines, observe customer and employee traffic patterns, and assist with post orders and emergency protocols as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
